Acceptance of Terms & Conditions
Placing an order through this website is deemed to constitute your acceptance of our Terms & Conditions. If you do not understand any of these terms please contact us before you place an order. When you have placed an order, please print out a copy of our acclimatisation guide to ensure you introduce your fish to your tank with the minimum of stress.

Please ensure you thoroughly research the needs and compatibility of the fish, crustaceans or amphibians before buying.  This is your responsibility.

Prices
Prices and any delivery costs will be as stated and will include value added tax at 17.5%. We reserve the right to increase the prices of the products periodically to reflect any increased costs. If there are for any reason anomolies with the order calculating incorrectly due to website software failure when you order, we will inform you of the correct order price to confirm that you still want to go ahead with the order at the price stated on the website. We reserve the right to cancel orders that have not calculated correctly due to software error.

Shipping
We hope you find ordering from direct tropicals a pleasant experience. We guarantee that you will not find healthier fish from any other online supplier. We do not despatch any fish unless they are healthy and feeding. Please ensure you thoroughly research the needs of the fish, crustacean or amphibian before buying.

If any part or all of your order is not in stock, we will contact you immediately. Your fish should be in your tank within 3-5 working days of your order. When you have been notified that your order has been despatched, your delivery will normally arrive between 8am - 3pm the following day. Our normal despatch days are Wednesday and Thursday.

Security & Privacy
At Direct Tropicals we know that you demand the highest level of security for your online transactions.
Direct Tropicals does not have access to your credit and debit card details, which are sent direct to either Nochex or PayPal who are our payment service providers. All credit and debit card information submitted within the order process is secured within 128-bit encrypted sessions to ensure that your personal and sensitive information is kept safe. You can tell when a page requesting payment details is secure as “https” appears in the address window of your browser and also a small padlock will be displayed.

All the personal information that you provide, for example name, address, and credit/debit card number are used solely to process the transaction. We do not sell your information to any third party. Neither do we trade or share your details with any third party. All credit and debit card information is processed direct by my payment service providers Nochex or Paypal who are approved payment solutions providers. Direct Tropicals does not have any access to your credit and debit card information.

Cookie
A cookie is a small, harmless text file that is deposited by a computer server when you visit a web site. It is stored on your computer’s hard drive by your web browser. On revisiting this web site, my computer server will recognize the cookies. Most browsers accept cookies automatically, but usually you can alter the settings of your browser to prevent automatic acceptance.

If you choose not to receive cookies, you may still use most of the features of this website, including purchasing items, but our computer server will not necessarily recognise you and your experience will not be personalised. This may mean that you need to re-enter certain details that you have already provided before.

Cancellation

Payment
Payment for the items you wish to order can be paid for using Paypal which accepts all credit and debit cards including solo.
