We hope you find ordering from direct tropicals a pleasant experience. We guarantee that you will not find healthier fish from any other online supplier. We do not despatch any fish unless they are healthy and feeding. Please ensure you thoroughly research the needs and compatibility of the fish, crustaceans or amphibians before buying.  This is your responsibility.

We always aim to despatch your order as soon as possible. If any part or all of your order is not in stock, we will contact you immediately. Your fish should be in your tank within 1 working week of placing your order. When you have been notified that your order has been despatched, your delivery will normally arrive between 8am - 5pm the following day after dispatch from the warehouse. 

General Information
To ensure you receive the healthiest specimens available and to reduce the travel stress on your fish, your order will be shipped direct from our packing facilities direct to your door We pack our fish in plastic bags, filled with water and oxygen and then sealed. The fish are placed inside a Styrofoam box to minimize temperature fluctuations and a heatpack is added when required. This packaging enables the fish to be transported safely and acclimatised to your tank water easily. We then dispatch your fish with our courier company for overnight delivery to you. When you have been notified that your order has been despatched, your delivery will normally arrive the next morning.

All orders are delivered by our own despatch vehicles or via overnight courier. You must take delivery of your fish on the first attempt at delivery to qualify for our arrive alive guarantee.
When you have placed an order, please print out a copy of our acclimatisation guide to ensure you introduce your fish to your tank with the minimum of stress.

Returns
The shipping container you receive will include a packing slip which contains the size and quantity of aquatic life that has been billed to your account. If this packing slip differs from what was received, please notify us by phone at 07960547824 After hours 01446 701135   or e-mail customer-service@directtropicals.co.uk and we will try to rectify the problem immediately.  The packing slip is not an invoice and does not contain pricing and billing info.

Because of the complex packaging procedures for all fish and our primary concern for the health and well-being of all specimens we offer, we cannot accept any returns of any fish. Please make your selections carefully.
